The Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training (Umalusi), is a statutory Council mandated by the Ministers of Education to quality assure education provision in the GET and FET bands. VERIFICATION OFFICER Salary: All inclusive remuneration package of R 138 416 per annum. Reference : UMA/QCC001 1 YEAR CONTRACT Requirements: A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification, a certificate or diploma in administration and at least two years’ experience in general office administration. Any related higher qualification will be an added advantage. Essential Criteria: Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite are required. Excellent communication and writing skills. Accurate data capturing. The ability to work independently, handle confidential matters and work under pressure. Experience in an educational environment and the mainframe environment would be an advantage. Duties: ● Provide feedback on completed verifications to client. ● Verify the various certificates as issued by Umalusi ● Liaise with external clients ● ● Assist with daily record keeping of completed verifications ● Assist in reporting with the number of verifications done on the last workday of every month ● Undertake general office administration as requested ● Take minutes ● Assist with switchboard duties as required.
