The Creator myth is condemned by the Budha. Creation connotes a beginning. In the Budha Dharma there is no known beginning. Before the beginning what was the Creator doing, and where did he live? A condition of things where is no water, earth, air, heat, light and space is unthinkable. If God rested on the waters who created the water, and if God created the water, where did he live before? Uncultured people are always very credulous. Neither the authors of the creator myths nor the people to whom these myths were proclaimed knew anything of the formation of the earth by slow degrees. Geology and astronomy they knew not. Muddleheaded they were; and ignorant people were made victims of priestly selfishness. Speaking of deity in the sense of a Supreme Creator, Budha says that there is no such being. Accepting the doctrine of evolution as the only true one, with its corollary, the law of cause and effect, he condemns the idea of a creator and strictly forbids inquiry into it as being useless. Vishnu Purana ఓ ఉత్తమ బ్రాహ్మణులారా, సత్యం ధ్యానం చేస్తుండగా బ్రహ్మకి ప్రపంచం సృష్టించాలనే కోరిక కలిగింది. అప్పుడు తన నోటి నుండి స్వచ్ఛత (సత్వ) గుణం కలిగిన వారు, చాతి నుండి అశుభ్రత, దైర్యం, అతి కోరికలు (రాజస్) గుణం కలిగిన వారు, తన తొడలనుండి అశుభ్రత, అజ్ఞాన (అంధకారం, తమస్) గుణం కలిగలసిన వారు, పాదము నుండి అజ్ఞాన (అంధకారం) గుణం కలిగి ఉన్నవారు జన్మించారు. ఆ విదంగా నోటి నుండి బ్రాహ్మణుడు, చాతి నుండి క్షత్రీయుడు, తొడల నుండి వైశ్య, పాదాలనుండి శూద్రులు జన్మించారు
