The opened palms of Jesus reminds us that He died for us and is our Familys Lord and Saviour. . . The Shields four quadrants highlights the flair for the Creative and performing Arts we are blessed with on the left side while the right side borrows imagery from the Amerindian carved Cuarita Rock of Maracas, St Joseph, that depicts the nurturing spirit of our familys iconic women who in no small way help to keep the strong bonds that Mama left us as her legacy - The stylized image of a pregnant mother at the waters edge luring the fish into the basket trap. . . . . The Crest stands on the foundation of the Apostle, James inspired definition of Religion (James Chap 1, Vs 27) . . . Pure, unspoilt religion, in the eyes of God our Father, is this: coming to the help of orphans and widows in their hardships, and keeping oneself uncontaminated by the world. The use of the colours Red and Yellow are derivative of our Spanish ancestry and was adapted from the Castile flag of centuries past. . . .
