The Current had a March Madness where they pitted 64 bands against each other. The final round was today, Beatles vs. Johnny Cash. The DJ said, wow, thats really fascinating, were a new music station but the final round was a pair of classic bands. i didnt follow the entire tournament but the brackets i did see were Ramones vs. Patti smith, Prince vs. Jimmy Hendrix and some ones with Talking Heads, David Bowie, REM, the Rolling Stones, Beastie Boys, Beck, U2, Radiohead, and the Replacements. And they were surprised an old band won?
