The DCIS office in Jacksonville was recently was chosen as the recipient of the Governor’s Volunteer Award that recognizes the volunteer efforts of our staff in Jacksonville. This award was presented at the Governor’s Mansion on April 28. The award focuses on six areas, including economic opportunity, education, and environmental conservation. Individuals and businesses recognized have exemplified the spirit and importance of volunteerism through monetary donations and community service. The Jacksonville team raised in excess of $43,000 for the Prairieland United Way in 2013. The staff also volunteers time at the local shelter and with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, along with numerous other activities and events throughout the West Central Illinois region. diversifiedservices/News.aspx
