The Daily Feast continues with a game in cyberspace: 1. Ukraine - TopicsExpress

The Daily Feast continues with a game in cyberspace: 1. Ukraine gave up its nukes as part of the Budapest Agreement in 1994. 2. Ukraine did so because the U.S.A. promised to help protect its borders, and now that the Obama Administration scrubbed the defensive missile system that was slated for Poland combined with the fact that Putin has taken Crimea and is stirring up trouble in Eastern Ukraine, the U.S.A. has opted for sanctions against Russia. 3. Where a red line is drawn, a foe must not dare cross it (sanctions do not stop tyrants like Putin from invading nations, and one needs only to look back to Hitler to learn that fact).
