The Day of Jehovah Tsaba - The Three Levels of Christian Service If you are a Christian believer, when you accepted Christ you were born into the family of God. A miracle occurred, one with eternal implications. Spiritually, old things literally passed away. The spirit (your inner-man) that gave you your natural life, the person who looked out of your eyes, and influenced your thoughts, plans and purposes, was taken out of you by the Holy Spirit. Then a new creation was formed within your heart, giving birth to a whole new being to replace the old spirit. This is called by Jesus, the New Birth. It brought you into the God-family. God is now your Father, literally, spiritually, you are born of His seed. Once this takes place it is eternal and neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor power, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, can separate you from the love of God which is your through Christ Jesus our Lord. In the God-family, you have found eternal life. Throughout eternity, your life will be with the family! It doesnt matter that your loved-one who accepted Christ never found their way into the Church to be educated and discipled in the finer points of Christianity, you will see them in Heaven at the great family reunion there! But God has something greater for ever believer who accepts Jesus as their savior. That is why Jesus said, And I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Apostle Paul tells us, in Ephesians 5, that as Jesus ascended to His Fathers throne in Heaven, to sit as His right hand, he gave gifts, providing leadership for the Church (that is His own workmanship - His building), Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. Their purpose is to provide a realm, a calling out from the world place for those who accept Christ. Gods plan is that those who believe on Jesus, come out of the world, with its evil conduct and ungodly lifestyles, to prepare and equip them for how to please God and learn their place in the Church (their part in the body of Christ). But the learning to serve in the Church wasnt the end purpose for coming into the this realm. The purpose of the Church was designed to instruct, disciple, and prepare the body of Christ to qualify to enter the Kingdom of God, a higher part of the Christian life, where greater service to God is offered the believer. As faithfulness is mastered, God summons us into the kingdom for service. Ministry is what it is all about, and responsibility for faithfulness to Gods will is given greater priority than it is in the God-family or the Church realm. God doesnt force his children to be servants of the Kingdom. There is no price for being in the family. After all, when you accepted Christ as your savior, there was no price to pay, no promises of service. It was pure grace, free and unconditional. When you accepted the free gift of salvation by confessing Jesus as Lord, and trusted in the fact that He died for you, and was raised from the dead, you were saved! Now you are sons of God, Gods own children. God wants His children to enter the family business, but as in any family, it cant be accomplished by coercion. It has to be what his child wants. In the Church we learn of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and temperance (self discipline). In the realm of the Church we receive the Holy Spirits baptism and learn to yield to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These nine manifestation are divided into three major categories: Revelation gifts (Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge & Discerning of Spirits), Power gifts (Gift of Healings, Gift of Faith & the Working of Miracles), and the Edification gifts (Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues & Prophecy). The realm of the Church is also supposed to be where the believer grows up and finds maturity in their walk with Christ. They learn to submit their will and their lifestyle to what is more pleasing to Christ, and in conformance with the plan of their Father God. The old deeds, learned from the society of the Word begins to be killed off and the Christian life begins to emerge. As this metamorphosis takes place, and faithfulness to a godly lifestyle develops, the Lord Jesus summons the believer to enter into the Kingdom of God. But first, Jesus urges each believer to count the cost of entering into discipleship in the Kingdom. It is a place of honor to be called into the Kingdom. Many are called, but only a few are chosen to actually serve at a higher level in the Kingdom of God. If they have not served in the Kingdom here on earth, they will only be citizens of Heaven. In Gods eternal plans they will not rule and reign with Christ, but they will live their lives eternally in the bliss and joy of Gods family. Those found worthy enter into higher service. _______ FOLLOW LIPSapp Classic Radio _______ FB: r-js/1vz7Pcz / TW: r-js/1kHd2Qt / Listen to LIPSapp Classic Radio r-js/1dOIQ18 #classicrock #rollingstones #ledzeppelin #santana #eagles #zztop #thewho #beatles #elvis #jimihendrix #dylan #acdc #michaeljackson #pinkfloyd #madonna #u2
