The Declaration expressed belief in the divine origin of the human person is everywhere presumed in the Constituition. And thruout American history, this belief has served as a goal to our national conscience. The founders belief in God given rightscontinues to be a bulwark to make sure our liberty, pushing us as citizens and blelievers to make sure that injustice, cowardice and political expeniency never get the final word in our public affairs.
