The Detroit Lions have released G Bill Nagy. Allen Park, Mich.— The Detroit Lions announced today that they have released G Bill Nagy. Nagy joined the Lions last season in August after being acquired off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys. He was placed on Reserve/Injured and missed the duration of the season with an ankle injury. A seventh-round pick (252nd overall) out of Wisconsin by the Cowboys in the 2011 NFL Draft, Nagy started four games along Dallas’ offensive line as a rookie. H/t official Detroit Lions Press Release
