The Director General, Deans, Faculty and staff would like to extend a hearty welcome to all the student teachers. A total of 252 Ist year student teachers . will complete registration on July 28 and will attend the two day orientation on July 29 and 30, 2014. Ist year classes will begin on Aug 4, 2014. We would like to inform all the student teachers and the faculty that classes will begin from July 28, 2014. PgDE and IIIrd year student teachers are allotted fixed classrooms in Rinpung campus while Ist,IInd and IVth year student teachers will be using 18 classrooms in Nangkha campus on rotation. Student teachers are reminded to be mindful of 60 hrs of face to face contact (actual classroom teaching/learning) and are required to adhere to the attendance policy of the college . Preparations for class presentations / assignments must be done outside the teaching/learning hours. Class coordinators must make sure that the master timetable published in the VLE is strictly followed. The timetable has been tailored to provide opportunity to student teachers who are required to repeat modules/semester. Wish you all a successful semester ahead.
