The DuSable Museum of African American History will host a 50th anniversary celebration of the March on Washington on Saturday, August 24th from 1:00 - 3:00pm. One of the largest political rallies for human rights in United States history, it called for civil and economic rights for African Americans, and is where Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his historic "I Have a Dream" speech advocating for racial harmony.
