The Easter weekend has ended on a sour note for some local members of the Zion Church whose bus was stolen in Diepkloof in Soweto. As of late yesterday at least 30 worshippers, young and old, from the Botswana branch of the church were reported by SABC to be stranded in Soweto as they no longer have transport to take them back home. The driver of the bus, Brian Moyo, says he parked the bus at Mangwele Primary School in Diepkloof on Saturday and then the members attended the church and early in the morning was phoned by church members who said they saw somebody moving the bus. Moyo says the worshippers at the moment are stranded and have appealed to all good citizens of SA to look out for a beige blue striped bus registration number B612 ALV and to report it to the nearest police station. Police say they are aware of the matter but no case has been opened.
