The Emmaus Center is one of the Missions of the Diocese of St. Benedict in Glen Burnie, MD. It is a day center for the homeless in our area and provides hot meals as well as healthy community, daily prayer, and social services access. If you go to our webpage, emmauscenter.net, and scroll down to the bottom, you will find a link that will take you to our donation page on the Great Give site. We are beginning a large fundraising campaign for much needed kitchen equipment, and no contribution is too small! We ask that you please kindly share this link with your community as we are in desperate need of a commercial grade refrigerator and convection oven to meet the growing demand of nearly 1500 hot meals served monthly, and which meet the building code for the Center. We need to raise $5000.00 to pay for these two essential pieces of equipment. Contributing through the Great Give is an excellent way to help us nurture and support the most vulnerable and needy in Glen Burnie, making for a better community for all of us, and fulfilling our Mission to spread the Love of God and Christ his son as he did on earth by feeding the hungry and loving the most desperate and troubled.
