The FW (First Win) is a 4x4 armoured vehicle, developed, designed and manufactured in Thailand by the Company Chaiseri. Chaiseri Metal & Rubber Co., Ltd. is a Thai company located in the province of Pathumthani, which is located in the north of Bangkok, Thailand. First Win is an infantry mobility vehicle with an all-welded steel V-shaped monocoque hull that provides high level protection against a variety of battlefield threats, including mines and improvised explosive devices. Gross vehicle weight is about 9 tonnes and it can carry up to 10 troops plus driver. A 7.62mm or .50 machine gun can be mounted on the roof, while firing ports allow use of small arms from inside. Remote Weapon System can also be installed upon requirement. The First Win is powered by a Cummins diesel engine coupled with an Allison automatic transmission, providing maximum road speed of up to 100 km/h. The vehicle comes standard with powered steering, independent suspensions and run-flat tyres. First Win 4x4 (FW4x4). FW4x4 is non-chassis based vehicle. FW4x4 features an all welded armour steel V-shape monocoque hull. FW4x4 has high mobility, and high power to weigh with protection capable up to STANAG Lv3. The protection cover both engine and crew compartment. FW4x4 can equipped with 7.62 LMG / 0.50 MG / 40 AGP. It can be transported by airborne, C130, A400, Ro-Ro ship and standard rail way. FW4x4 has various variants eg APC with 10+1 seat, IFV, Ambulance, Reconnaissance and etc. In order to be adaptable to various user mission, FW4x4 has been designed to scale down to compensate the payload / protection / budget. First Win, the highest protection in range with Bullet and Blast protection. The Royal Thai Army has officially announced a first batch order of 21 First Wins. 5 additional First Wins are being negotiated for acquisition. The Thai Ministry of Justice has officially ordered 18 First Wins designated for the Department of Special Investigation. Chaiseri also plans to export the First Win to potential foreign customers. Chaiseri will be collaborating with Malaysian DRB-Hicom Defence Technologies (Deftech) on promoting the First Win as a replacement for the Malaysian Armys aging Rheinmetall Condor.
