The Fishing Report Yesterday yielded two trout and a redfish. The - TopicsExpress

The Fishing Report Yesterday yielded two trout and a redfish. The trout were 18 and 20 inches and the red was 24 inches. I did get soaked on the way back in but maybe the jinx was broken. I also caught a shark, a ladyfish and a too small trout. So it was a good day and we now have fish in the freezer. The weather moved in and rain fell for a while. During this time the refrigerator decided to quit so an RV repairman was called. Luckily he was almost in Apalachicola and was able to come here. We have just had the cooling unit replaced on this thing in May and it was the upgrade that quit. Luckily he was able to run a magnet over it and reset it but now we are worried about when it will quit again. $50.00 less in our pockets and he was gone. Now we are working to find out why it isn’t cooling like it should. He said that it should be between 4 and 10 degrees in the freezer part and it hasn’t gone below 20 degrees. Oh well just another thing. I saw where one of the jurors from the Zimmerman/Martin trial went on TV to say that he should have been convicted of murder. I believe that if someone felt that way they should have voted that way and not been so wishy-washy that they couldn’t stand up for their convictions. Then further in the interview, she said that the evidence wasn’t there to convict him. These are the type of folks that we are getting on our juries. It is no wonder that we have the problems with the court system that we do. I did see in the paper (from the computer) that the government is now investigating what is disseminating the bee population. The initial findings are showing that the fungicides and pesticides are causing the problems. Do you think that it will ever be discovered that the genetically modified seeds are the real problem? I’ll bet that the big seed companies never get any blame. This will be like the problem with the pollution of the Wekiwa River. Initially they blame excesses fertilizing by agriculture (which there is very little agriculture in the basin) then it was the septic tanks. I just recently saw on the news where they think that the cause might really be the sewage treatment plants (there are at least 46 in the Wekiwa basin) and the runoff from the gated subdivision’s lawn that are in the area. Who is right? I don’t know but I suspect that that last might be the cause. Y’all have a great and wonderful day and remember to take a moment to smell the roses! I think we will be able to go scalloping today.
