The Food Bank is still pumping water so is not able to receive large donations as of yet, but we’re looking good and should be business as usual within the next couple of days. Regular food donations still may be dropped in the bins at Safeway and Sobeys. Please let us know if you require food assistance, as we recognize there are many families displaced and requiring extra help. We are here to help ANYONE that has extra strain on them because of taking in evacuees. Please get the word out. If you have other items to donate, the Chamber has recommended to take them to First Calgary Financial in Okotoks and they will redistribute. The Okotoks Rec Centre is the hub for evacuees.
