The Foret Platinum pattern from the Herend Next 2014 - TopicsExpress

The Foret Platinum pattern from the Herend Next 2014 Collection An eternal classic for the 21st Century! “Rothschild Birds”, one of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory’s most famous patterns is connected to the banker family. It shows 12 different birds and dates back to the 19th Century. This decorative classic has been redesigned to a new look by Herend’s artist - Etelka Meixner. Three pairs of birds were selected from a dozen and placed enlarged on the borders of the objects instead of their centers becoming visually more exciting. The subtle pastel colors redefine and modernize the pattern. The bird feathers and the identical sky-blue border give a harmonizing frame to the objects. This Rothschild adaptation is a perfect example of Herend’s vision, innovation coming from traditions. Would you like to have one of these beautiful pieces for your or your loved ones home?
