The Friends of Oak Ridge Schools are spreading misinformation. They claim that Citys appropriations to the school system has not kept pace with inflation. That is far from the truth. This table shows that in the past thirteen years Oak Ridge School System has received in excess of inflation 10 out of 13 times. Those years it received below adjustment for inflation it had received a substantial excess either in the preceding year or the following year.
