The Girl II I can see her in my nights of dreams In the lush - TopicsExpress

The Girl II I can see her in my nights of dreams In the lush meadows of my sight I can feel her heart flow through me Like the rivers glow in the moonlight Her hair, I can smell on the days Where I cant seem to breath That scent that washes away The clot that brings me to knees The memory of her smiled kiss On my so innocent lips That sweet taste of a time When all good was all mine And now the distance of years Has been the messenger of tears Brought the destuructuon of mine And hers sacred passion in our eyes I can see her in my nights of dreams In the decaying meadow of my sight in the nightmares of her screams The rivers glow of crimson moonlight We were destroyed for a time But we set it all on fire When we returned to life Calling death the true liar For through all the loss And all the grieving I never once had stopped She, never done believing For that sacred feeling I had fought For that tiny chance she kept on stealing We rose through the ashes of our past The Phoenixes of love Time and distance couldnt stop I can see her no more in my dreams Ive lost the vision of the meadows All thats left of those are the echos Of her so silent screams And all that I can see tonight The river that basks in silver moonlight -------------------------------------------------- An older poem but I just felt the meaning was great. I love the way it rhymes.
