The Gospel: The bible is NOT just a bunch of disconnected stories written by man and tossed together into a book. There is a common thread running throughout scripture which is mans fall and his need for a savior; Jesus Christ creator of all and the judge of all mankind being that savior. If you are tempted to question the validity of the scriptures, you had better take more than a casual look at them because if they are true, your eternity depends on how you respond to them. You will stand before God and give an account for your rejection of Him. Do you have some better explanation or just one that is popular with fallen mankind? I have been watching The Cosmos on channel 2 on Sunday nights and two things strike me. 1. The awesomeness of an infinite creation 2. The arrogance of man who exalts creation above creator a creator; stating far flung theorys like evolution as fact. Seems totally bias. As far as I understand, most scientists dont really believe in evolution these days. And how do such people explain the conscience or for that manner the depravity of man. Are we evolving to a higher consciousness? Watch the 5 o clock news and tell me. And now I will offer another idea, I know, I seems far flung and silly to the human brain, but then so does your idea.
