The Gospel is not some sort of incantation that we need to attach to everything we do. What we do either is or is not already infused by it or derived from it. The gospel is where our salt and light comes from. Its the very reason that we are the salt and light of the world. The gospel is not a simple recitation of the roman road or recounting of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ that an evangelist goes over before calling a sinner to repent. The Gospel is the Kingdom of God come to earth, redeeming the World through the finished work of Christ going boldly forth in the work of the empowered helpmeet bride of Christ as we are directed by the Holy Spirit. Dont just attach the gospel to your good works in order to sanctify them. Let your good works flow out from the gospel and be the proclamation of the gospel to the world around you.
