The Governments Bed Room Tax is now officially in an absolute mess. Peoples benefit cut, more house holds in rent arrears, more stress on the none rich and has not achieved the effect that it was intended to do so, i.e.; freeing up houses for families that need more bed rooms. Heres my Radical Idea! Offer an incentive of say £5,000 tax free to any tenant that will move voluntarily to a house with fewer rooms. If you dont want to move fine, if you do we will compensate you, as Olaf says..... Simples No one suffers, no one forced to move and I think more people will take up the offer?
