The Grace Daley House, built in 1834 is located at 165 Main Street in Kingston, between Town Hall and the Country Store. THIS BUILDING IS IN DANGER OF BEING TORN DOWN, as early as this November! Please attend the public meeting Monday, September 23rd, at 7 pm on the second floor of the Town Hall, where the fate of the Grace Daley House will be discussed and determined. This is our LAST and final chance to save this historic building, located in our historic district! It needs a little TLC, but with grant monies that will be available, if saved, the cost of renovations and restoration could be covered! And the building could be used as an extension of the Historical Museum and the Nichols Memorial Research Library, as well as for much needed storage of our collections. Please help us save this building!
