The Greater Shelby Kennel Club and Tupelo Kennel Club will host the 2014 “Dog Days of Summer” all-breed conformation and obedience shows July 10th through 13th at the Southaven, MS Multi-purpose Arena. This four-day cluster of shows is 20 minutes from downtown Memphis, TN and 30 minutes from Tunica, MS. The Southaven area is convenient to interstates 40, 240 and 55 and has a variety of hotels, restaurants, shopping and RV Park within 5 minutes of the show site. The show site itself is a large, well air-conditioned facility with new lighting, large rings, and on-site RV parking and we’ve added an additional power supply for exhibitors. There will be designated grooming areas (we expect a large entry), several dog-wash points and ex-pens. Services will include more than a dozen quality-merchandise and food vendors, a silent auction, a raffle and on-site security. In addition, the joint show committee (identifiable by blue club shirts) will be on site from set-up to finish and available to help exhibitors as needed.
