The Guardian assesses the impact of breaking up the UK on the personal finances of hard working Scots. In the article a small business owner from just over the border in Northumberland and with staff from Scotland gives his assessment - Most think its absurd. It would be absolute nonsense to run two systems and if we change the currency it will become totally unworkable. As part of the UK we can have the best of both worlds - a strong Scottish Parliament, with the guarantee of more powers, backed up by the strength, security and stability of being part of the larger UK. The only thing putting this at risk is Alex Salmonds obsession with separation.
