The HPV vaccine will be given to all girls age 9-10 on St. Maarten - TopicsExpress

The HPV vaccine will be given to all girls age 9-10 on St. Maarten (Dutch side) free of charge by government. Parents need to sign a consent form to allow their daughter to be vaccinated at school. Unfortunately, the vaccine will not be given to boys although they are also at risk. Parents - please read about HPV to understand the risks and the need for the vaccine and to decide if you want to get your sons vaccinated by your family doctor. You can also join the call for boys to be included in the vaccination programme.
