The HTC one m8 is criticized online for only having a 4mp camera sensor. Meanwhile Im sitting here doing this in manual mode with one. i.imgur/v3wjO4i.jpg i.imgur/IHIps0T.jpg You dont need more than twice the resolution than the resolution you see with Hollywood movies on big screens at theaters (yes, 4mp is actually double that). Color rendering, skin tones, latitude, low light performance, and manual control is way more important than more pixels. Besides most flagship phones with over 8mp look all smudged when you crop in so that extra resolution isnt even adding more real detail. Oh, and ufocus is incredibly fun and works surprisingly well most of the time. Nice portable and convenient alternative to my $4000 camera rig when Im feeling lazy and spontaneous as its always in my pocket.
