The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help with locating a missing Mechanicsville teen still believed to be in the Metro Richmond area. No foul play is suspected. Tamara N. Collins, 16, was last seen voluntarily leaving her residence on the evening of Jan. 9. She is described as a black female, 5’4”, 140 pounds, with brown eyes, and black hair with red highlights. She was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and yellow sweatpants. She also goes by the nickname “Tete.” Anyone with information about Collins’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637 (CRIMES), using the keyword “iTip” followed by their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
