The Highway Patrol was able to reach Steve so quickly because Sidney did not have her phone passcode protected and she had ICE (In Case of Emergency) information in her contacts. All of this thanks to Welcome Week at Oklahoma State her freshman year requiring them to do this, Micah said. Her new sister-in-law, Gabby has found a phone app called smart911 to have ICE info on your phone but still have passcode protection. We encourage you to add this to your phone but especially the ICE info. I cant imagine how long it would had taken them to contact us if Sidney hadnt been prepared. It will save your loved ones some heartache!
