The Holy Scriptures tell us that The Word, which is Jesus, was - TopicsExpress

The Holy Scriptures tell us that The Word, which is Jesus, was there with The Father before He Created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1-25 and John 1:1-3). And how “In the beginning” God spoke The Word seven times, preceded by the phrase “Let There Be …”. And so, it was by The Word, all in Creation “Came Forth” to existence (Genesis 1-25). Then our Father God spoke again and said “Let Us make man in Our Image, according to Our Likeness; Let them have dominion ….”. We can read the whole story of the “Beginning” in Genesis 1:1-28. After “Creation” God has given the knowledge of “His Word” - beginning with Moses, and then at various times in ancient history, through the prophets - in countless life situations (Hebrews 1:1 and 2 Timothy 3:16). Today, all is “settled in heaven” (Psalms 119:89) and will not change - forever. And since the days of the early apostles and beginning of the Church Age, all of “The Word” is for daily application in the life of every man born on this earth – whether Christian or not. But that is not all; the Scriptures also gives us detailed examples where God’s Word defines the outcome of all things - the good and the bad (Romans 11:22). It includes the fate/consequences of every man and woman, and all man-kind – those who will have lived in obedience to The Word, and those who will not have done so. Today: Since God’s Word is settled in heaven it is “unyielding” in His meanings, but has many, many applications which the Scriptures call the “Manifold Wisdom of God” (Ephesians 3:10). The application of God’s Word for any particular life circumstance can only be accurately determined and interpreted by one “Person”, The Holy Spirit (John 16:13). As it is specifically written, The Word is never to be considered by man’s way of thinking (2 Peter 1:20 and Romans 8:6&7). Also today: Just as God “Loosed His Word” to go forth for Creation - saying “Let There Be”; Jesus’ says that each of us is individually responsible to “Loose” that which is “Settled in heaven” to “Come forth” in our lives (Matthew 16:19; 18:18 and Luke 10:19) – being in His Image. Therefore, we will review in this study how each Christian can execute that capability with Divine Wisdom and spiritual Authority - so that God’s Word for “Blessings” can be “Loosed” to come forth on earth each day (and not curses). Folks; these things are why Jesus gives His command on how we are to pray. It is written in Matthew 6:9-11 and 33: “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name (Exodus 34:5-7). Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is [settled] in heaven. Give us this day our daily Bread [The Word for that day (John 6:48)]. … [Therefore] seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness [that is settled in heaven], …” Having the knowledge and a good understanding of all the above - starting with the ForeWord, and believing that all is applicable to every Christian; our minds are open to receive the “whole Counsel of God” (Acts 20:27; Romans 4:16&17 and Ephesians 3:10-12 - refer back to page 1). We will learn that since the beginning of the Church Age, Jesus has all Authority in heaven and on earth, and He has given a portion of it for each of us – when we obey the conditions. This is as written in Romans 4:17 and Ephesians 3:10: “…, [Jesus], Who gives Life to the dead, and Calls those things – which do not [already] exist [in us and for us] as though they did; …” “…; to the intent that now the manifold Wisdom of God [multiple applications of The Word] might be made known by [men especially in] the Church …” Therefore, the Holy Spirit gives this fresh enlightenment for all in the churches to know and understand that all of God’s Word, both the Old and the New Testament applies to all in the Church today. None has changed (except as noted in the Scriptures as being in Jesus), as it is written in Psalms 119:89&90a; Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8. And folks; all of us need to let the above fresh enlightenment and Counsel of God “soak in” (as the saying goes). Even if it means going back and forth - reading it all very carefully from the beginning again, and again, until there is good understanding. Every Promise of God in this study is for every “Christian”; and is dependent on our having (1) knowledge and (2) understanding of the whole Counsel of God (Hosea 4:6; Proverbs 4:7 and Acts 20:27). However, it must be for each of us, as Jesus told the Pharisee, Nicodemus, “We must be born again” (John 3:1-7). Because the “Wisdom” of God can only be comprehended by knowledge of The Word, and then understood by being “filled with the Holy Spirit”. All is a spiritual application that can only be known by those having asked for and received his “daily Bread” – The Word - for each day. This is the reason for The Word in Galatians 5:16: “Walk in The Spirit, ….”
