The Home Invasion and robbery at our abode at 2:00 AM Monday morning resultant in only $3,000 to $5,000 in losses, although every day we find more things missing. However, the trauma it caused us is not measurable. Peter, our grandson, drove up from Salinas to stay overnight in case the criminals returned. Matt came over for a few hours that evening, also to discourage any re-peat. Our appreciation of the support is also immeasurable. Anita has put most of the house back together and a contractor will repair the damages this week. Thank God they never came into our bedroom! Our deafness may have saved our lives; we never heard them.
