The IPCC wont clean up our Police. Rot like this is always - TopicsExpress

The IPCC wont clean up our Police. Rot like this is always top-down, not bottom-up. How about a full and independent assessment of every officer of the rank of Chief Inspector and above, to make sure that they are fit for the job, not a Common Purpose lackey and focussed on crime-fighting instead of diversity awareness and the persecution of those unfortunate to serve under them? This rot became the norm during the tenure of Ian Bliar, the former Met Commissioner, who spent more time persecuting his own officers for thought crimes than he did combating real crime. He singly handedly did more damage to British policing than any other individual, group or, incident. His legacy continues. Abolish the accelerated promotion scheme, which is used by those mentioned above to promote clones of themselves (thus perpetuating the politicisation of the police and its obsession with political-correctness) and lets see some good, honest coppers with real command ability and natural leadership skills spearheading the fight against crime, instead of of over-promoted, self-aggrandising bullies running vacuous propaganda campaigns, and lets see all future promotion independently scrutinised to make sure this can never happen again.
