~The Indians differ greatly from the Westerners in one very powerful respect..it is in this sense of belonging to something greater; their environment gives them a sense of identity so powerful that to remove them from their homeland would be to take away a piece of their soul. The idea of conquest of the land, the taming of nature, does not fit in with their beliefs...for the wilderness beyond the tipi is also where they live...this sense of being at home wherever they may find themselves is beautiful..~♥ ~♥ ~Native American Magic~ *Artist: Howard Terpning*
