The Ken theatre to remain open This message is from the Landmark Theaters weekly email: THE KEN CINEMA WILL REMAIN OPEN! We are happy to announce the Ken Cinema will remain open for many years to come, thanks in large part to the outpouring of community support over the past few weeks! Look out for some upgrades at the theatre, including a new digital system and luxurious seating! We are so very thankful for your continued support. Join us this weekend as we celebrate the Ken Cinema with a weekend of Classic Films! This special ‘thank you’ celebration includes screenings of Akira Kurosawa’s SEVEN SAMURAI on Friday, April 25 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm, followed by a midnight show of the beloved comedy MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL. On Saturday, April 26 we present the epic LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, starring Peter O’Toole, at 2:30pm and 7:30pm, followed by the Coen Brothers’ THE BIG LEBOWSKI at midnight . The celebration concludes on Sunday, April 27 at 3:00pm, 5:30pm and 8:00pm with Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald OConnor in perhaps the greatest Hollywood musical ever made, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN. The Ken Cinema will reopen on May 2 with a full schedule of showtimes! Thank you for continuing to share popcorn and memories with us!
