The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is holding a public information meeting to discuss the relocation of US 641 from Fredonia to Eddyville. The public is invited to the Fredonia Lions Club Building from 5:00 p.m., CDT, to 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, to view displays and make comments on the project. “We are offering an opportunity for anyone interested in the project to become better informed and to express their views concerning the proposed project,” said KYTC District 1 Project Development Engineer Mike McGregor. “The informal format will allow interested citizens to attend anytime between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. We’ll provide a handout containing project information. The public will be able to review plans and exhibits for the project and make comments.” McGregor noted that transportation cabinet employees and consultants working on the project will be available to answer questions. The public can make oral and written statements will be accepted during the meeting. For anyone who is unable to attend the meeting, displays and information on the project will be available at the District One office, 5501 KY Dam Road, Paducah, KY, for a period of 15 days.
