The Kenyan DAILY POST News 13:35 Sunday July 6, 2014 - President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, made their threat real after they attempted to arrest former Prime Minister Raila Odinga at the Kisumu International Airport on Saturday. The Government machinery had been dispatched to the airport to arrest Raila but could not find him; instead they found his driver and bodyguard who they arrested while trying to arrange for Raila Odinga’s journey back to Nairobi after a successful CORD rally in Kisumu. However, Raila Odinga’s supporters could not let Uhuru/ Ruto have their way as they fought the police gallantly and managed to save Raila’s driver, Mr. Eric Ominde, who they had released. Due to the incident at the airport where he was to be arrested by Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government for polarizing the country with his Saba Saba rallies, Raila Odinga decided not to fly to Nairobi after his consultative rally in Kisumu, instead chose to fly the next day for fear of being arrested. Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government has made it clear that it will not spare anyone who spreads hate during political rallies and who is out to polarize the country.
