The Kiwanis Club of Richmond, IN (Club Key # K00300), held its regular Club Meeting on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Forest Hills Country Club. Forty-one Club Members were in attendance, as well as several guests. Don Kowalke presented the Kiwanis International By-Laws and the revised Club Policies & Procedures to the Membership for review. Following a couple of questions, Sandie Rowe made a motion to accept the By-Laws and Policies & Procedures as presented. John Place seconded the motion. Motion carried. In a separate ballot vote, a ballot was distributed to all members attending with the names of Tom Cox, David Lydick, and Sandie Rowe as candidates for a one-year term to fill the vacated board seat by Steve Uphaus, who had been elected to the position of Second Vice-President. Dan Cappa announced following the Program that David Lydick had been elected for the vacated board position. His term will begin October 1, 2013.
