The LNP seems to be detached from the stark reality of community micro-politics regarding the school closures Campbell Newman, a classic example being the mem- ber for Toowoomba South who wont refuses to meet with certain lobbyists fighting to prevent the closure of Toowoomba South State School. That is just the tip of iceberg, across Queensland P&C associations are up in arms, many parent groups are screaming blue murder, yet your government, and in particular Education Minister John-Paul Langbroek, is hellbent on school closures, and in many instances, its just not warranted. Common sense is in short supply.
