The LORD is my shepherd; (I need no other.) I shall not want. (He gives me all I need.) He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; (So I can rest.) He leadeth me beside the still waters. (So I can drink.) He restoreth my soul; (And refreshes me.) He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake. (Because he knows Satan is not the way.) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, (And I will, if that is what He commands.) I will fear no evil; (Because fear is liar.) For thou art with me; (And He is my strength.) Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (And I feel all his graces.) Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: (So we can become friends.) Thou anointest my head with oil; (To cleanse my sins.) My cup runneth over. (With Him, I have everything I could ever need.) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: (And His glory is eternal goodness.) And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. (Forever in His Love.) “ Amen “
