The Lady Cougars competed tonight against the New Caney Lady Eagles in district 19-4A. The freshmen and junior varsity girls each competed hard but came short losing to the Eagles. The Varsity girls closed the night out with a victory. From the jump ball to the last buzzer the action was thrilling. The Lady Cougars trailed at the half but turned it around in the 3rd quarter to take the lead. The Lady Cougars defeated the Eagles 64-58 and now hold a 3-9 record in district action.
