The Lambrettas are one of the names to be featured on ‘THE BRIGHTON MUSIC WALK OF FAME’ interactive street exhibition which will be launching in June this year created to celebrate Brighton’s music history over the past five decades paying tribute to the many artists, DJ’s & subculture’s closely associated with the city. THE EXHIBITION There will be 40 names featured in the exhibition displayed as a trail of pavement graphic plaques represented in the form of vinyl albums along the south side promenade of Madeira Drive commencing just east of Brighton Pier terminating at the Yellow Wave beach sports venue opposite the Concorde 2 music venue. INTERACTIVE FEATURE The album graphics include QR codes linking to the Walk of Fame web site where viewers can access biographical information and video links on individual featured names. Four of the plaques will be embedded with ‘Augmented Reality’ (AR) technology accessed via a ‘Free App’ bringing hidden content to life giving the viewer a 3D audio visual experience.
