The Leaders Gathering in February 2014 saw 85 global leaders come together from over 25 nations, with further online participants. The gathering was notable for the strong sense of community, deepening commitment to GLI values, and the clear agreement from all participants to see the new strategy implemented in the territories each represented. GLI is organised through chapters and online virtual groups, with members on all six continents. This global reach enables professionals and students in diverse locations such as Tuvalu, Jamaica, Belize and Belgium to work together in partnership and with common values and vision. The London Gathering included agreement to establish a new custom built ‘Members Portal’ to facilitate new levels of online networking, perspective sharing and thought development.
