The Little People fairy was missing from her house when Charlie went to play with her today, so she and I instigated a search. She quite understands looking for something and does a good job. As I looked under the couch and amongst other toys, I chanted Fairy, where are you? with a little echo matching the tone, if not the words. (We were unsuccessful until Mummy came home and located her after an adventure in another room.) Sadly, The Fat Controller is still MIA, after an extensive search last week, prompted after seeing his picture in a book. She looked in all the logical places and I all the illogical - he had better have a good excuse when he returns!
