The Lord can bless us out of nothing or he can use the foolish things to confound the wise. We have to stop looking at our situations with our natural eyes and begin understanding that God can speak things into existence. Yes….He can speak your deliverance or what you need into existence too. He really don’t need us trying to help Him out, because that is when things go south. He blessed the widow with a pot of oil. Think about it. The man of God told her to borrow empty vessels from her neighbors and don’t borrow a few. She would need a lot of empty vessels to compensate for the blessing the Lord had in store for her. The Lord will bless you so that people will wonder. Well God is a wonder isn’t He. She was instructed to pour from her one pot of oil into all the empty vessels she borrowed. When she was done she had enough to pay her debt and her and her children lived off the rest. God blessed her with enough to sustain her for the rest of her life. That’s the kind of God He is. As far as I’m concerned she was an entrepreneur, because the oil that she owned helped her to live. Thank God! He will make us lenders and not borrowers. Yours in Christ.
