The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet LIKE ME from your midst, from your brethren, Him you shall hear. according to all you desired of the Lord your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying; Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God nor let me see this great fire anymore lest I die. And the Lord said to me; What they have spoken is good. I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren and will put My words in his mouth and he shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which he speaks in My Name, I will require it of him. But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My Name which I have not commanded Him to speak or who speaks in the name of other Gods, THAT PROPHET SHALL DIE. And if you say in your heart; How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?- when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, IF THE THING DOES NOT HAPPEN OR COME TO PASS, THAT IS THE THING WHICH THE LORD HAS NOT SPOKEN, THE PROPHET HAS SPOKEN PRESUMPTUOUSLY, YOU SHALL NOT BE AFRAID OF HIM. COMMENTARY: From the beginning of mans witness to the reality of God recorded in scripture, men being fearful have required judges, kings, prophets and priests to come to be known by God. This is so because the nature of man is to be fearful of leaving behind all he has come to know in order to survive. NO MAN WILLINGLY SEEKS GOD IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH. For when the truth of God is revealed to a man he begins to speak of things which to the average mind seem crazy. For when the truth of the spirit of God is revealed which is to say manifested, the experience shakes the logical faculties of the mind. So God provides a servant and as we are informed by the new testament scripture; SEEK TO PROPHECY. This requires great endurance of many things. And this way to the mind of the prophet is filled with great evil in the form of persecution and affliction, for this is the way unto God. Now those who speak to you of things which do not come to pass are not prophets regardless if you call them, pastor, pope, bishop or reverend. Those who speak to you of the second coming of Jesus speak presumptuously having stolen the words of others for a man speaks of what he knows and GIVES TESTIMONY to that which he has seen for the servant is a witness to the glory of God which is the renewal of the knowledge in which your mind reasons that you may speak a perfect word to those who are also afflicted and persecuted. The perfect word is a word that becomes flesh which is to say empirical evidence that you may be fully assured of the honor a prophet deserves so that you will not make his work a grief for this would be unprofitable for you in the things of God. These men who speak to you of the end of the world and endless requests for money, prayer attendance at church advice about what to eat, what to touch what to do and not do are liars. They are liars in the sense that though they are well meaning they have done nothing to acquire the truth and therefore deceive you. They attempt to make the things of God convenient for you by informing you that praise and worship in song and sacrifice bring you into the presence of God. This is a fantasy recorded nowhere in the scripture. We praise, which is to say come to give honor to God, through His revelation or manifestation of evidence and substance of His glory which is the purpose the priest/prophet/servant serves. For the manifestation of evidence and substance of God is the recognition of God that He has accepted your offering and the manifestation is what faith is as faith is a gift OF GOD which makes you FULLY ASSURED OF THE EXISTENCE OF GOD. It is required of men which means that given the way a mans mind functions, a man can only be fully assured through evidence and substance. This is what you contend for that you may be renewed in the knowledge in which your mind reasons. And this is why the scripture informs you. LEAD A QUIET LIFE AND MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. When Jesus spoke about being about His fathers business, this is what He meant and this seeking led Him to the wilderness where He referred to John the Baptist as the greatest prophet born of a woman. CONSIDER THESE THINGS.
