The Lord’s Prayer, is a model prayer, first spoken by Jesus Christ, to highlight topics of concern, and to express appreciation as well as a desire to avoid the consequences of human weakness during times of temptation. Reciting it can bolster our resolve, and calm anxiety. Now that the ACLU has outlawed the reciting of the Lord’s prayer over the loud speaker before football games, what’s a united Christian audience to do?
