The Los Padres National Forest will be filling 10-15 Wildland Fire Fighter Apprentice (WFAP) positions during the upcoming 2014 Fall Fire Hire. Specific locations of positions to be filled will be dependent upon Forest needs and candidates may be placed in any of the announced duty locations within the Forest. The nature of the WFAP may require a selectee to move to different duty locations across the Forest to gain expertise and complete program requirements.
