The Louisiana Vampire XXXIV The guard let fly the arrow in his bow and just as it was about to strike the apparition, it vanished in a cloud of smoke. The guard gasped, his face turning pale at the unholy sight and as he was about to back away from the frightful scene, the crimson sun shed its thin palpable rays over the land and he uncovered the source of the eerie noise that had so disturbed his company the night before. “Catapults” he yelled.
