The Maine Migrant Health Program is recruiting a mobile medical unit driver for the months of November and December for the wreath-making season in the region of DownEast, Maine. For more information contact [email protected] DRIVER/CLINIC COORDINATOR Part-time, seasonal position (11/1/13 – 12/20/13 approx.) as mobile medical unit driver and clinic coordinator (D/CC); facilitating access to care and services for Maine’s migrant and seasonal farmworkers (MSFWs) and their families. The D/CC will drive the mobile medical unit to and from evening clinics, clean and re-stock the vehicle, assist with intake and coordination of services during the wreath season clinics, on behalf of the Maine Migrant Health Program, Maine’s only farmworker health program. Responsibilities to include: driving, cleaning, restocking, intake and maintenance checks of vehicle (oil, tire pressure, etc). This position will be based in DownEast, Maine with clinics ranging in the region of Ellsworth to Machias. Ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-starter who possesses strong interpersonal skills, be detailed oriented, is committed to working with MSFWs, and be comfortable working in mobile settings. Evening schedule (1-3 evenings/week), with a possibility of some weekend hours. Reliable transportation/clean driving record, and prior experience driving large vehicles a must.
