The Michigan Chapter of the American Fisheries Society is considering holding a GIS workshop at our annual meeting on February 24th at the DoubleTree in Holland, MI. Before scheduling the workshop we would like to know how many people are interested in attending and if they would be able to provide their own computer with ArcGIS. The GIS course will be designed for the beginning GIS user with implications for use in fisheries and aquatic sciences. If you are interested in taking a GIS course at the meeting please contact Dan Traynor ([email protected]) by October 18th and indicate whether or not you could provide your own laptop with ArcGIS.
